Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved.”

Jane Goodall

Our goals are simple:

  • Make wildlife education as accessible as possible.

  • Provide opportunities to experience wildlife in an ethical way

  • Actively support genuine conservation & animal care initiatives all around the world

Through free-to-access educational content and our directory of ethical projects, project.wild is breaking down the barriers that keep animal protection an exclusive industry, while encouraging ANYONE to get involved.

Meet the founder

Connie Needham

Connie’s journey with animal care & ethics started at 19 years old when she flew to South Africa to assist on an African Elephant research project. This opened her eyes not only to the complexities of understanding animal behaviour and human impact, but also to the world of ethics in care and conservation.

This has been her driving passion ever since, and she has dedicated her life to understanding and protecting other species. Project.wild is her way of making all she has learnt as accessible as possible, while sharing her love for all species
