project.wild strives to be a platform where people can access education about wildlife and get involved in conservation without any kind of paywall - this is my way of trying to broaden access to what is a very exclusive industry with a huge lack of diversity.

The same goes for the sanctuaries and facilities I endorse - classically, these NGOs have to pay to be considered for official accreditation from current bodies. This doesn’t make sense to me when they already often struggle for funding and therefore more locally governed facilities lack recognition and support.

But, of course, the money to carry out projects and make the platform possible has to come from somewhere! We don’t want to gatekeep content or services to make this income, so we rely on the support and generosity of those who truly believe in our mission and can afford to contribute.
